There are many things to do while you are in
Saugatuck. Consider riding the Star of Saugatuck, enjoying the views of the
Kalamazoo River and the beautiful sunsets over Lake Michigan. For a fun
adventure, ride the Amphibious Duck, where Brent will entertain you with
fascinating facts of Saugatuck and Douglas, while making humorous fun of the
locals (yes, me included). The Dune Rides will give you a thrill. Feel free
to stroll through the town, which will transform you into a different era
while giving you the pleasure of arts and crafts and many unique items, not
found else where. Don't forget to take a peak at the
stained glass artwork
here, it's for sale! And then there's Oval Beach, there is nothing like
strolling through the "singing sands", watching a Lake Michigan sunset! It's
no wonder we were voted Michigan's coolest city and one of the top area's in
the US to retire. Lance and I have owned the Elbo Room since June of 2002. Lance was a chef for over 20 years at various restaurants and does a great job (just look at our menu selection). I have been a nurse for 20 years and have a strong nutritional background. Together, with the best staff around, we manage to keep the Elbo Room "The best kept secret in town". We see our menu as suggestive, we are able to accommodate many diets and allergies if requested. Our knowledgeable staff will do the best to accommodate your needs.
